We had some decent waves from Hurricane Katia, but no where near as nice as Irene. This was filmed on September 9th 2011 in Long Branch, New Jersey. Anyway these guys rip it up pretty good. Enjoy!

Hurricane Irene Monmouth County
This is a video I put together showing Hurricane Irene as it passed through Monmouth County. I covered the storm before, during and after. You will see Long Branch, West Long Branch, Deal, Eatontown and Spring Lake. You will also see Monmouth University completely flooded and some surfers towards the end.
